The start of 2023 also marks the start of Tamara Griffioen’s role as artistic director of the Delft Fringe Festival. Tamara is a theater artist and dramaturge. She has been involved in the festival as a programmer for two editions and since 1 January she started as the artistic director of the festival. "To experience the upcoming edition as artistic director feels like a whirlwind, but a very positive one!", says Tamara.
Tamara: “I look forward to being able to build on the good solid foundation that the previous artistic director Rémon Beeftink, together with festival director Roel Funcken, has created in recent years. Delft Fringe Festival has become a household name for new directors in the Netherlands. Through the festival I look forward to being a beacon for them, inspiring them to develop as people and performers in a safe, but professional environment.”
The Delft Fringe Festival team is delighted that Tamara has taken up this role in the organization. Roel, director of Delft Fringe Festival: "We look forward to working with Tamara who, in her own way, will give substance to the artistic leadership."
