Delft Fringe Festival values your privacy

Delft Fringe Festival understands that you do not want to share your personal and visitor data with everyone. Therefore, we handle this information with care. We adhere to the General Data Protection Regulation (AVG). We do need your data to be able to help you in the appropriate way. In this statement we explain what information we need from you and how we use it.

Privacy statement
This is a privacy statement of Stichting Delft Fringe Festival, based in Delft and registered in the trade register of the Chamber of Commerce under number 69862753. This privacy statement describes which personal data we process, for what purposes this personal data is used and what measures we have taken to ensure that the processing is lawful, appropriate and transparent, in accordance with the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation.

Storage of your data
We store the personal data we receive from you. This includes, for example, the data we receive when you sign up for a newsletter or when you buy a ticket for a workshop or performance. Among other things, we collect and store the following personal data:

  • Name (first and last name), address and other contact information
  • Data relating to the payment of your admission ticket

Use of your data
We use your personal data for the following purposes:

  • Registration and administrative processing of your visit or participation in the performance or package chosen by you
  • To keep you informed of our services and products
  • Sending you the documents you have requested and responding to your questions
  • Comply with the laws and regulations that apply to us
  • To carry out analyses (customer satisfaction survey)

Sharing with others
Delft Fringe Festival shares your personal data very selectively and only where necessary, for example with the ticketing party and the program through which we send newsletters. With companies that process your data on our behalf, we enter into a processing agreement to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality of your data. We work in this way with the following companies:

  • Stager: ticketing system
  • Mailchimp: for sending emailings

We may publish photographs of visitors and/or participants in activities on our website and in promotional materials, unless you explicitly object with good reason (see Viewing, correcting, updating and deleting your data).

Your data
We protect your personal data against abuse and access by unauthorized persons through the techniques currently available for this purpose. We keep your personal data as long as necessary for the purposes indicated above or as long as we are required to do so by law.   • receive more information about how we process personal data about you;
  • ask questions in relation to this privacy statement;
  • gain access to the personal data that we process in relation to you;
  • for correction, restriction, removal or transfer of your data;
  • to object to the use of your data by Delft Fringe Festival Foundation.

If you have recently purchased tickets from us, you can view and modify key data through the shopping basket. If you want us to remove your data you can send an e-mail to info@delftfringefestival.nl. We will respond as soon as possible, but in any case, within four weeks.

Use and effect of cookies
We use cookies on our website. Cookies are small text files that are automatically placed on your computer when you use the internet. A cookie records, for example, which web pages you view and which options you use. We use this information to make our website more user-friendly. In addition to cookies that ensure that you only have to enter data once, we also use necessary, statistical, preference and marketing cookies.

      The Google AdWords cookie measures if and through which advertisement you enter our website.

      The Facebook cookie keeps track of which pages you visit on our website, so that (after accepting marketing cookies) we can show you interesting ads on Facebook, such as a personalized offer. It also allows us to see that you came to our website via a Facebook ad.
    • Google Analytics cookie The Google Analytics cookie keeps track of how you use the website. We use this information for reports on internet use. After accepting marketing cookies, Google Analytics target groups are also shared with Google AdWords in order to show you interesting ads on Google partner sites.
