The Delft Fringe Festival invites everyone to the very first online edition of the festival. Enjoy a real theatrical binge-watch marathon. In your own living room, on the balcony or in the garden. Via your laptop, tablet or smartphone. More than 30 young producers - from cabaret artists to singer-songwriters and dancers to theater producers - have been itching to get back on stage for months. For eleven days, Delft Fringe Festival will let them burst from your screen and into your living room!
Festival Feeling 2.0
The performances by over 30 producers can be seen online at set times this summer via the festival website. Although the format is different from previous years, the Delft Fringe Festival offers a real cultural experience. Unexpected encounters, fun festivities and interactive experiences will enter your living room in a surprising way for a real festival feeling 2.0! From the moment you buy your ticket to the moment you close your laptop.
New generation of performing artists
During Delft Fringe Festival, young and old are invited to discover new producers and genres in a relaxed atmosphere. Up-and-coming performing artists - such as Dion van Rijt, the Prima Donna's and the Skazka Quartet - will let you enjoy, listen, dance and experience. The Delft Fringe Festival showcases work by producers who have beautiful, relevant stories to tell. Stories that often paint a fascinating picture of today's world.
Dot on the horizon
Due to the pandemic, which continues unabated, the Delft Fringe Festival 2020 could not take place. But, what was practically impossible to arrange in 2020, the Delft Fringe Festival is grasping with both hands in 2021: "By opting for an online edition, the festival can be guaranteed to continue and we give young producers, in a time when talent development is virtually at a standstill, a place to present themselves and expand their network", says Roel Funcken, director Delft Fringe Festival.
About Delft Fringe Festival
Delft Fringe Festival gives young producers the opportunity to gain experience in a professional setting and to further develop themselves in this way. But also, to entertain, move and be seduced by these fantastic new talents. Your ticket is their springboard. A springboard into the world. With over 14,000 visitors in 2019, the Delft Fringe Festival has now become a household name. In recent years, the Delft Fringe Festival offered a springboard to the likes of Lisa Ostermann, Eva Bos, Belinfante Quartet, tg Alles Valt, De Gestampte Meisjes, Jasper Smit and HUN.
