Open Call 2025 has started! .

Starting October 1, the Open Call period begins. Do you have an exciting, hilarious, moving, surprising, disruptive, innovative idea for a performance? Cabaret, dance, music, opera, mime, ballet, a beautiful cross over or something in between? Apply from October 1 for a performance spot at Delft Fringe Festival 2025. We love to be surprised by all the untamed talents, artistic experiments and cool new makers! You can apply until November 30, 2024. The festival will take place between May 27 and June 8, 2025.

Apply with new or existing work from all genres in the performing arts. All languages are also welcome. The festival offers a playground for new professional makers who are at the beginning of their careers: makers who have completed an art education, are still working on it or are self-taught. By working with an open call, we present an inclusive and diverse program at the festival. We therefore invite everyone to apply. 

Delft Fringe laat nieuwe makers stralen

The festival offers new creators a place to perform, gain experience and get feedback, from both audiences and professionals, including theater agents and scouts. An audience award is presented, resulting in considerable media attention.In the run-up to the festival, the organization offers extra guidance in the artistic career of the talents.It is the chance for young makers to grow into full theaters and rave reviews.  

Practical info

• Your performance lasts a maximum of 30 minutes.
• Your performance can be set up or dismantled within half an hour. 
• Your performance can be performed at special locations. Delft Fringe Festival is a site-specific theatre festival.A performance with a large set or many technical requirements is not suitable.
• You play your performance at least 8 times during the festival.
• You participate in the workshops for creators February 14 and April 12, 2025.
• Each creator / company will receive an expense allowance of € 320,- per artist, per half-day.
• Artistic coaching is available before and during the festival.
• You play at special venues, from windmill to old cigar factory or houseboat.
• An audience prize will be awarded to the performance with the highest votes.
