There are two family shows at this year's festival. In the performance ‘I'll just wait here’, ‘NEUSWIJS’ invites everyone aged 4 to 104 to get bored. Because what actually happens when you can let your mind run wild? The company ‘OPSTOOT’ takes children into the boxing ring in the theatre performance ‘RONDE 1’ (8+). What are actually the rules of the game when you have a fight?
Besides the two family performances, there is much more to see at the Delft Fringe Festival for you and your child or teenager. Think music and dance but there are also performances that fit in well with the experiential world of teenagers. The performances last a maximum of 30 minutes, an ideal time to get acquainted with different performing arts in a fun way.
The youngest festival-goers do not need to buy a ticket. However, if it is crowded, a festival staff member may ask you to take your child on your lap. Do you have a pushchair or buggy with you? The festival magazine shows which venues are accessible for wheelchairs, and therefore also for pushchairs.
Children attending a performance must be accompanied by an adult who has also bought a ticket for themselves.
On the Market Square you will find the Fringe Rabbit, which is our festival pavilion in the shape of a seven-metre tall pink rabbit. Wow, you really must have seen that! Or even take a photo with it! So take a walk or cycle along.
