Lines of S.R.P.

Lines of S.R.P. verteld over hoe wij als mensen worden wie we zijn door middel van hoe wij leren van onze omgeving en ons zelf. Het gaat over ontwikkeling en perspectief. De voorstelling zit op het kantel punt van een installatie en een dansstuk. Tijdens de voorstelling word je geleid door de spiegels, waarin je jezelf maar ook de andere mensen in een reflectie ziet. Het thema ‘reflectie’ staat tijdens deze voorstelling dan ook centraal.

De voorstelling Lines of S.R.P. is begonnen als afstudeer solo in 2021. Tijdens het proces van maken ontstond het thema ‘reflectie’ vrij snel. De inspiratie kwam vanuit Myrthe haar gehele leerproces als danser en persoon. Ze blikte terug op hoe ze was gekomen op de plek waar ze toen in haar leven was. De realisatie kwam naar boven dat wij als mens continue bezig zijn om te leren, aan te passen, te delen en de beste versie van ons zelf te willen zijn die matchen met onze gedachtes en doelen die we ons zelf hebben gesteld. Maar dit kunnen wij niet alleen. Voor ons persoonlijk proces hebben wij onze omgeving nodig. Myrthe wil met haar solo laten zien dat het goed en oke is om te blijven leren en te onderzoeken naar ons zelf en de anderen. Zelfs als dit je soms wat verder van jezelf wegbrengt dan de bedoeling was. Zoektochten zijn nou eenmaal niet altijd in een stijgende lijn…

**Over Myrthe Marchal **

Myrthe Marchal (Tilburg, Netherlands) is active as an artist. She has multiple creative area’s where she gains energy from. As main, she is active as a dancer next to being a photographer, teacher and coach. After being graduated from the dance academy of Fontys School of Fine and Performing arts she found her way into different projects like, ‘Matta Matta’ with The100hands and ‘Motus Mori’ with Katja Heitmann. The collaboration and the interaction with people is for Myrthe a very big drive and inspiration. As a young kid she was already participating in social projects to be in collaboration, to learn and to share.

During her last 2 years the interest in martial arts became bigger. Myrthe has created 2 solos where the layers of the martial arts are melting with dance and the audience. She likes to merge different subject into one to gain something to learn and to process.
