Haus of 4D formed two years ago, out of the desire to do drag in Delft in our own unique way. Usually touring festivals and pride events across the Netherlands, this time, they proudly represent their own city. Haus of 4D makes its debut at the Delft Fringe Festival, offering a fresh perspective on theatrical arts.

Duik mee in de wereld van de gebarentaal, de misinterpretatie, de verbazing, de humor ervan en de confrontatie. Herken jij wat gebaren? Wat doe jij in een situatie waarbij je niets hoort? En hoe kan jij je verstaanbaar maken?
Gebarentaal is een taal van beweging, mimiek, emotie en plaatsing. Hoe ga je als horende met je zintuigen om en hoe leef je als slechthorende of dove in een horende wereld? Hoe stimuleer je zintuigen via communicatie?
Iets niet begrijpen kan soms ook goed zijn en het verkeerd begrijpen kan soms leiden tot humoristische momenten. Hoe snijd je thema’s aan die niet comfortabel zijn om over te spreken? Hoe confronteer je elkaar? Wat is nodig en wat is provocatie?
Een voorstelling over gebarentaal. Zintuigen die geprikkeld worden. Een unieke ervaring en misschien wel een klein leermoment.
Dive into the world of sign language, its misinterpretation, amazement, its humor and confrontation. Do you recognize some gestures? What do you do in a situation where you can't hear anything? And how can you make yourself understood?
Sign language is a language of movement, facial expressions, emotion and placement. As a hearing person, how do you interact with your senses and, as a hearing or deaf person, how do you live in a hearing world? How do you stimulate senses through communication?
Not understanding something can sometimes be a good thing, and misunderstanding can sometimes lead to humorous moments. How do you broach topics that are not comfortable to talk about? How do you confront each other? What is necessary and what is provocation?
