Over Florian Slangen
Florian Slangen (1993, Antwerpen) is acteur, zanger en theatermaker met een passie voor taal en muziek. Hij studeerde af aan het conservatorium in Tilburg (Fontys) richting Muziektheater en deed vervolgens een master Muziektheater Performance in Arnhem (ArtEZ).
Florian maakte o.a. voorstellingen voor Over het IJ Festival en het Grachtenfestival in Amsterdam en het Café Theater Festival in Utrecht. Ook stond hij met zijn solovoorstellingen op het Amsterdam Fringe Festival en Festival de Oversteek. Daarnaast was hij acteur bij Theatergroep Kwatta in Nijmegen, maker bij Muziektheater de Plaats in Arnhem en zanger bij de Nederlandse Reisopera. Sinds 2021 spreekt hij Vlaamse luisterboeken in bij Wim Pel Producties in Amsterdam en is hij muzikaal assistent bij productiehuis Silbersee.

About Florian Slangen
Florian Slangen (1993, Antwerp) is an actor, singer and theater maker with a passion for language and music. He graduated from the conservatory in Tilburg (Fontys) in Music Theater and then did a master Music Theater Performance in Arnhem (ArtEZ).
Florian made performances for Over het IJ Festival and the Grachtenfestival in Amsterdam and the Café Theater Festival in Utrecht, among others. He also performed with his solo performances at the Amsterdam Fringe Festival and Festival de Oversteek. He was also an actor with Theatergroep Kwatta in Nijmegen, a creator with Muziektheater de Plaats in Arnhem and a singer with the Nederlandse Reisopera. Since 2021 he voices Flemish audiobooks at Wim Pel Producties in Amsterdam and is musical assistant at production house Silbersee.

Nadat ze vorig jaar een voorstelling maakten over het einde der tijden in DOEMSDEE, dompelt Tappin-It Collective zichzelf in 2023 onder in de wereld van de jazzzzzzz. Op Delft Fringe Festival 2023 keren ze terug met hun voorstelling JAZZCAFE, waarvoor ze samen met Guy Salamon de muziek componeerden.
In de swingende droomwerkelijkheid van JAZZCAFE is the sky the limit en komen de muzikale gasten samen om de dagelijkse sleur van de rigide buitenwereld van zich af te schudden. Want waarom zou je elke dag hetzelfde doen als elke dag uniek kan zijn?
Soms is het beter om niet te weten wat er gaat gebeuren en het onbekende met open armen tegemoet te gaan.
Er wordt muziek gemaakt, gedanst, gegeten en gedronken. De bladmuziek wordt op het vuur gegooid en het script wordt in de blender gestopt. Ze gaan pianospelen met hun neus, drinken wijn uit een saxofoon, zingen liedjes achterstevoren en tapdansen op het plafond. Want: wie niet kan improviseren zal niet overleven. Nooit.
In een combinatie van tap, mime, live muziek, object-percussie, paaldans en rollerskating neemt Tappin-It Collective je mee in een wervelwind van fysieke muzikaliteit in een voorstelling over vrijheid, over regels en hoe ze te breken.
Over Tappin-It Collective
Tappin-It Collective is een eigenwijs en ambitieus collectief uit Amsterdam dat sinds 2018, onder leiding van Doortje Peters en Robin Lie, eigenzinnige multidisciplinaire voorstellingen maakt. De voorstellingen prikkelen, schuren en dagen de bezoeker uit om zich onder te laten dompelen in een unieke combinatie van moderne tap, mime en live muziek.
Via een samensmelting van energieke muzikaliteit, fysieke humor en een beeldende, absurdistische stijl hebben zij een eigen universele tekstloze taal ontwikkeld. Deze toegankelijke taal wordt door mensen van alle leeftijden en verschillende achtergronden begrepen, maar is tegelijkertijd ook schurend en edgy. Ze gebruiken specifiek tap op een vernieuwende manier, door dit te combineren met andere disciplines. Tap wordt intrinsiek ingezet om een verhaal te vertellen of op een thema te reflecteren.
Eerder maakten zij LOCO!, IRMA en DOEMSDEE. Met IRMA wonnen zij in 2021 de Publieksprijs tijdens Delft Fringe Festival 2021. In 2022 en 2023 zitten zij in de Nieuwe Makers regeling van Fonds Podiumkunsten waarin zij zich verder willen ontwikkelen als tap-theatermakers. Sinds 2022 werken zij samen met impresariaat Van Baasbank Productions.

After creating a performance about the end of times in DOEMSDEE last year, Tappin-It Collective is immersing themselves in the world of jazzzzzzz in 2023. At Delft Fringe Festival 2023 they return with their performance JAZZCAFE, for which they composed the music together with Guy Salamon.
In the swinging dream reality of JAZZCAFE, the sky is the limit and the musical guests come together to shake off the daily grind of the rigid outside world. After all, why do the same thing every day when every day can be unique?
Sometimes it is better not to know what is going to happen and to face the unknown with open arms.
Music is made, danced, eaten and drunk. The sheet music is thrown on the fire and the script is put in the blender. They will play the piano with their noses, drink wine from a saxophone, sing songs backwards and tap dance on the ceiling. Because: those who cannot improvise will not survive. Never.
In a combination of tap, mime, live music, object percussion, pole dancing and roller skating, Tappin-It Collective takes you into a whirlwind of physical musicality in a performance about freedom, about rules and how to break them.
About Tappin-It Collective
Tappin-It Collective is a headstrong and ambitious collective from Amsterdam that has been creating idiosyncratic multidisciplinary performances since 2018, led by Doortje Peters and Robin Lie. The performances excite, abrade and challenge visitors to immerse themselves in a unique combination of modern tap, mime and live music.
Through a fusion of energetic musicality, physical humor and a visual, absurdist style, they have developed their own universal textless language. This accessible language is understood by people of all ages and different backgrounds, while also being abrasive and edgy. They specifically use tap in an innovative way, combining it with other disciplines. Tap is intrinsically used to tell a story or reflect on a theme.
Previously they made LOCO!, IRMA and DOEMSDEE. With IRMA they won the Audience Award at Delft Fringe Festival 2021. In 2022 and 2023 they are in the Nieuwe Makers scheme of Fonds Podiumkunsten in which they want to develop further as tap-theater makers. Since 2022 they have been working with impresario Van Baasbank Productions.

De macho man. Masculiene in al zijn daden en bewegingen. Is dat de ultieme vorm van man zijn? In PUSSYBOYS vliegen 6 jonge mannen vanuit humor, compassie, muzikaliteit en serious business de zoektocht naar hun eigen mannelijkheid aan.
Wat wordt jongens aangeleerd en welke koers varen zij op de weg naar volwassenheid? Met een stalen transformeerbaar decor bevinden wij ons in hun alomvattende mannelijke wereld. Heeft de man de vrije keus om te bepalen hoe hij zich vertoont? En wat voor rol heeft de maatschappij op hun ‘manly performance’?
PUSSYBOYS is een muziektheater voorstelling over de dualiteiten, verwachtingen en keuzes van het man zijn.
Over Tara Reijerkerk
Tara Reijerkerk (24 jaar, nieuwe muziektheater maakster) kan vijf merken mayo blind uit elkaar houden. Dit oog voor detail, neemt zij ook mee in haar voorstellingen. Haar voorstellingen zijn bommetjes van muzikaliteit, humor en kwetsbaarheid.
Na in 2018 te zijn afgestudeerd als Musical Performer en Danser aan de Song and Dance Academie wilde zij zelf een podium geven aan talenten. Momenteel studeert zij af als Theatermaker en docent aan de Academie voor Theater en Dans in Amsterdam. In het derde jaar van haar opleiding werd haar eerste werk ‘PUSSYBOYS’ geboren.
Tara’s voorstellingen vertrekken vanuit een breed maatschappelijk thema en worden ingevuld met persoonlijke perspectieven van de spelers. Als Tara niet in de repetitiezalen te vinden is, dan staat ze wellicht op een surfplank te golfsurfen. Hierin vindt zij liefde voor de combinatie van lef, actie, rust en in het moment zijn. Net als in haar theaterregie.

The macho man. Masculine in all his actions and movements. Is that the ultimate form of manhood? In PUSSYBOYS, 6 young men search for their own masculinity with humor, compassion, musicality and serious business.
What are boys taught and what course do they take on the road to adulthood? With a steel transformable backdrop, we find ourselves in their all-encompassing masculine world. Does man have the free choice to determine how he displays himself? And what role does society have on their "manly performance"?
PUSSYBOYS is a musical theater performance about the dualities, expectations and choices of being a man.
About Tara Reijerkerk
Tara Reijerkerk (age 24, new music theater maker) can tell five brands of mayo blindly apart. This eye for detail, she also brings to her performances. Her performances are bombshells of musicality, humor and vulnerability.
After graduating as a Musical Performer and Dancer from the Song and Dance Academy in 2018, she wanted to give a stage to talents herself. She is currently graduating as a Theatre Maker and teacher at the Academy for Theatre and Dance in Amsterdam. In the third year of her studies, her first work "PUSSYBOYS" was born.
Tara's performances start from a broad social theme and are filled with personal perspectives of the actors. If Tara can't be found in the rehearsal halls, she might be on a surfboard surfing. In this she finds love for the combination of guts, action, peace and being in the moment. Just like in her theater direction.

The macho man. Masculine in all his actions and movements. Is that the ultimate form of manhood? In PUSSYBOYS, 6 young men search for their own masculinity with humor, compassion, musicality and serious business.
What are boys taught and what course do they take on the road to adulthood? With a steel transformable backdrop, we find ourselves in their all-encompassing masculine world. Does man have the free choice to determine how he displays himself? And what role does society have on their "manly performance"?
PUSSYBOYS is a musical theater performance about the dualities, expectations and choices of being a man.
About Tara Reijerkerk
Tara Reijerkerk (age 24, new music theater maker) can tell five brands of mayo blindly apart. This eye for detail, she also brings to her performances. Her performances are bombshells of musicality, humor and vulnerability.
After graduating as a Musical Performer and Dancer from the Song and Dance Academy in 2018, she wanted to give a stage to talents herself. She is currently graduating as a Theatre Maker and teacher at the Academy for Theatre and Dance in Amsterdam. In the third year of her studies, her first work "PUSSYBOYS" was born.
Tara's performances start from a broad social theme and are filled with personal perspectives of the actors. If Tara can't be found in the rehearsal halls, she might be on a surfboard surfing. In this she finds love for the combination of guts, action, peace and being in the moment. Just like in her theater direction.

Nadat ze vorig jaar een voorstelling maakten over het einde der tijden in DOEMSDEE, dompelt Tappin-It Collective zichzelf in 2023 onder in de wereld van de jazzzzzzz. Op Delft Fringe Festival 2023 keren ze terug met hun voorstelling JAZZCAFE, waarvoor ze samen met Guy Salamon de muziek componeerden.
In de swingende droomwerkelijkheid van JAZZCAFE is the sky the limit en komen de muzikale gasten samen om de dagelijkse sleur van de rigide buitenwereld van zich af te schudden. Want waarom zou je elke dag hetzelfde doen als elke dag uniek kan zijn?
Soms is het beter om niet te weten wat er gaat gebeuren en het onbekende met open armen tegemoet te gaan.
Er wordt muziek gemaakt, gedanst, gegeten en gedronken. De bladmuziek wordt op het vuur gegooid en het script wordt in de blender gestopt. Ze gaan pianospelen met hun neus, drinken wijn uit een saxofoon, zingen liedjes achterstevoren en tapdansen op het plafond. Want: wie niet kan improviseren zal niet overleven. Nooit.
In een combinatie van tap, mime, live muziek, object-percussie, paaldans en rollerskating neemt Tappin-It Collective je mee in een wervelwind van fysieke muzikaliteit in een voorstelling over vrijheid, over regels en hoe ze te breken.
Over Tappin-It Collective
Tappin-It Collective is een eigenwijs en ambitieus collectief uit Amsterdam dat sinds 2018, onder leiding van Doortje Peters en Robin Lie, eigenzinnige multidisciplinaire voorstellingen maakt. De voorstellingen prikkelen, schuren en dagen de bezoeker uit om zich onder te laten dompelen in een unieke combinatie van moderne tap, mime en live muziek.
Via een samensmelting van energieke muzikaliteit, fysieke humor en een beeldende, absurdistische stijl hebben zij een eigen universele tekstloze taal ontwikkeld. Deze toegankelijke taal wordt door mensen van alle leeftijden en verschillende achtergronden begrepen, maar is tegelijkertijd ook schurend en edgy. Ze gebruiken specifiek tap op een vernieuwende manier, door dit te combineren met andere disciplines. Tap wordt intrinsiek ingezet om een verhaal te vertellen of op een thema te reflecteren.
Eerder maakten zij LOCO!, IRMA en DOEMSDEE. Met IRMA wonnen zij in 2021 de Publieksprijs tijdens Delft Fringe Festival 2021. In 2022 en 2023 zitten zij in de Nieuwe Makers regeling van Fonds Podiumkunsten waarin zij zich verder willen ontwikkelen als tap-theatermakers. Sinds 2022 werken zij samen met impresariaat Van Baasbank Productions.

After creating a performance about the end of times in DOEMSDEE last year, Tappin-It Collective is immersing themselves in the world of jazzzzzzz in 2023. At Delft Fringe Festival 2023 they return with their performance JAZZCAFE, for which they composed the music together with Guy Salamon.
In the swinging dream reality of JAZZCAFE, the sky is the limit and the musical guests come together to shake off the daily grind of the rigid outside world. After all, why do the same thing every day when every day can be unique?
Sometimes it is better not to know what is going to happen and to face the unknown with open arms.
Music is made, danced, eaten and drunk. The sheet music is thrown on the fire and the script is put in the blender. They will play the piano with their noses, drink wine from a saxophone, sing songs backwards and tap dance on the ceiling. Because: those who cannot improvise will not survive. Never.
In a combination of tap, mime, live music, object percussion, pole dancing and roller skating, Tappin-It Collective takes you into a whirlwind of physical musicality in a performance about freedom, about rules and how to break them.
About Tappin-It Collective
Tappin-It Collective is a headstrong and ambitious collective from Amsterdam that has been creating idiosyncratic multidisciplinary performances since 2018, led by Doortje Peters and Robin Lie. The performances excite, abrade and challenge visitors to immerse themselves in a unique combination of modern tap, mime and live music.
Through a fusion of energetic musicality, physical humor and a visual, absurdist style, they have developed their own universal textless language. This accessible language is understood by people of all ages and different backgrounds, while also being abrasive and edgy. They specifically use tap in an innovative way, combining it with other disciplines. Tap is intrinsically used to tell a story or reflect on a theme.
Previously they made LOCO!, IRMA and DOEMSDEE. With IRMA they won the Audience Award at Delft Fringe Festival 2021. In 2022 and 2023 they are in the Nieuwe Makers scheme of Fonds Podiumkunsten in which they want to develop further as tap-theater makers. Florian Slangen (1993, Antwerpen) is acteur, zanger en theatermaker met een passie voor taal en muziek. Hij studeerde af aan het conservatorium in Tilburg (Fontys) richting Muziektheater en deed vervolgens een master Muziektheater Performance in Arnhem (ArtEZ).
Florian maakte o.a. voorstellingen voor Over het IJ Festival en het Grachtenfestival in Amsterdam en het Café Theater Festival in Utrecht. Ook stond hij met zijn solovoorstellingen op het Amsterdam Fringe Festival en Festival de Oversteek. Daarnaast was hij acteur bij Theatergroep Kwatta in Nijmegen, maker bij Muziektheater de Plaats in Arnhem en zanger bij de Nederlandse Reisopera. Sinds 2021 spreekt hij Vlaamse luisterboeken in bij Wim Pel Producties in Amsterdam en is hij muzikaal assistent bij productiehuis Silbersee.

De macho man. Masculiene in al zijn daden en bewegingen. Is dat de ultieme vorm van man zijn? In PUSSYBOYS vliegen 6 jonge mannen vanuit humor, compassie, muzikaliteit en serious business de zoektocht naar hun eigen mannelijkheid aan.
Wat wordt jongens aangeleerd en welke koers varen zij op de weg naar volwassenheid? Met een stalen transformeerbaar decor bevinden wij ons in hun alomvattende mannelijke wereld. Heeft de man de vrije keus om te bepalen hoe hij zich vertoont? En wat voor rol heeft de maatschappij op hun ‘manly performance’?
PUSSYBOYS is een muziektheater voorstelling over de dualiteiten, verwachtingen en keuzes van het man zijn.
Over Tara Reijerkerk
Tara Reijerkerk (24 jaar, nieuwe muziektheater maakster) kan vijf merken mayo blind uit elkaar houden. Dit oog voor detail, neemt zij ook mee in haar voorstellingen. Haar voorstellingen zijn bommetjes van muzikaliteit, humor en kwetsbaarheid.
Na in 2018 te zijn afgestudeerd als Musical Performer en Danser aan de Song and Dance Academie wilde zij zelf een podium geven aan talenten. Momenteel studeert zij af als Theatermaker en docent aan de Academie voor Theater en Dans in Amsterdam. In het derde jaar van haar opleiding werd haar eerste werk ‘PUSSYBOYS’ geboren.
Tara’s voorstellingen vertrekken vanuit een breed maatschappelijk thema en worden ingevuld met persoonlijke perspectieven van de spelers. Als Tara niet in de repetitiezalen te vinden is, dan staat ze wellicht op een surfplank te golfsurfen. Hierin vindt zij liefde voor de combinatie van lef, actie, rust en in het moment zijn. Net als in haar theaterregie.

What are boys taught and what course do they take on the road to adulthood? With a steel transformable backdrop, we find ourselves in their all-encompassing masculine world. Does man have the free choice to determine how he displays himself? And what role does society have on their "manly performance"?
PUSSYBOYS is a musical theater performance about the dualities, expectations and choices of being a man.
About Tara Reijerkerk
Tara Reijerkerk (age 24, new music theater maker) can tell five brands of mayo blindly apart. This eye for detail, she also brings to her performances. Her performances are bombshells of musicality, humor and vulnerability.
After graduating as a Musical Performer and Dancer from the Song and Dance Academy in 2018, she wanted to give a stage to talents herself. She is currently graduating as a Theatre Maker and teacher at the Academy for Theatre and Dance in Amsterdam. In the third year of her studies, her first work "PUSSYBOYS" was born.
Tara's performances start from a broad social theme and are filled with personal perspectives of the actors. If Tara can't be found in the rehearsal halls, she might be on a surfboard surfing. In this she finds love for the combination of guts, action, peace and being in the moment. Just like in her theater direction.

Muziektheater met live muziek. Gebaseerd op een waargebeurd verhaal van een meisje met PTSS, dat met haar boekje voor de wereld reist. Ze schrijft en zingt over van alles, behalve over haar eigen verhaal. Ze herkent zichzelf in alles wat op haar lijkt, behalve als ze in de spiegel kijkt… Abstract en donker maar met humor.
Over Sally Jabour
Sally Jabour is geboren in Syrië. In 2017 is ze in Nederland aangekomen. Ze studeerde af aan theaterschool De Trap en zit momenteel in het Excellentie jaar op de mbo theaterschool Rotterdam.

Musical theater with live music. Based on a true story of a girl with PTSD who travels the world with her little book. She writes and sings about everything but her own story. She recognizes herself in everything that looks like her, except when she looks in the mirror... Abstract and dark but with humor.
About Sally Jabour
Sally Jabour was born in Syria. In 2017 she arrived in the Netherlands. She graduated from theater school De Trap and is currently in the ‘Excellentie year’ at mbo theater school Rotterdam.

Over Florian Slangen
Florian Slangen (1993, Antwerpen) is acteur, zanger en theatermaker met een passie voor taal en muziek. Hij studeerde af aan het conservatorium in Tilburg (Fontys) richting Muziektheater en deed vervolgens een master Muziektheater Performance in Arnhem (ArtEZ).
Florian maakte o.a. voorstellingen voor Over het IJ Festival en het Grachtenfestival in Amsterdam en het Café Theater Festival in Utrecht. Ook stond hij met zijn solovoorstellingen op het Amsterdam Fringe Festival en Festival de Oversteek. Daarnaast was hij acteur bij Theatergroep Kwatta in Nijmegen, maker bij Muziektheater de Plaats in Arnhem en zanger bij de Nederlandse Reisopera. Sinds 2021 spreekt hij Vlaamse luisterboeken in bij Wim Pel Producties in Amsterdam en is hij muzikaal assistent bij productiehuis Silbersee.

About Florian Slangen
Florian Slangen (1993, Antwerp) is an actor, singer and theater maker with a passion for language and music. He graduated from the conservatory in Tilburg (Fontys) in Music Theater and then did a master Music Theater Performance in Arnhem (ArtEZ).
Florian made performances for Over het IJ Festival and the Grachtenfestival in Amsterdam and the Café Theater Festival in Utrecht, among others.
